SACRISTAN ASSISTANT: Wash and iron altar linens periodically.
SJN CHORALE: Sing four-part music, similar to “traditional” choirs. Music consists of a wide variety of styles.
USHER: Greet, seat, direct and collect at the weekend liturgies.
CANTOR: Lead our assembly in singing during Mass.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER: Distribute the Eucharist under the forms of bread and wine at all the weekend liturgies.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TO THE HOMEBOUND: Regularly bring the Eucharist to the homebound and assist at monthly Liturgy at assisted living facilities.
FUNERAL SACRISTAN: Assist family and priest during funeral Liturgy.
INSTRUMENTALIST: Provide a wide variety of musical expression at Sunday liturgies.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD: Children’s choral group for children from 2nd grade and up that participate and sing at monthly Mass and seasonal Liturgies.
LECTOR: Proclaim the scripture at the weekend Liturgies.
MASS HELPER: Girls and boys who assist the priest at the weekend Liturgies. Grades 4-8.
MEDIA MINISTRY: Use the computer to project songs and prayers during Liturgies.

RELAY FOR LIFE EVENT: Help coordinate SJN participation in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
RESPECT LIFE: Raise awareness for Life Issues through education and activities.
SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL: Become a conference member and assist with clothing drive and special works for those in need.
FUNERAL LUNCHES: Prepare salad or dessert or purchase an item for a funeral lunch, become a team coordinator, and/or set up/ serve lunch (lunch server).
GREETERS: Help welcome parishioners as they arrive to weekend and holiday Masses. Assist newcomers and provide support to the front office with parishioner needs.
HOSPITALITY: Provide refreshments for events at the parish and assist with monthly hospitality weekends (coffee and donuts).
JESSE TREE ADVENT PROGRAM: Help prepare and hang tags and/or help deliver gifts.
NEUMANN’S NEEDLERS: Knit/crochet items for charity.
PARISH HEALTH MINISTRY: Assesses needs and develop appropriate responses. Assist with blood drives; blood pressure checks.
PEACE AND JUSTICE: Raise awareness of Catholic Social Teaching and/or provide rides to mass.
PARISH OUTREACH PROJECTS: Help organize events, deliver items, serve meals.

CATECHISTS :People who teach and share their faith with children. Lead a weekly class grades PS/K-8 with supplied lessons and materials.
CATECHIST ASSISTANTS: Assistants to the catechists during religious formation classes.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD: Children’s Liturgy of the Word meets during the Sunday, 10:30am Mass for the entire hour. Leading children in prayer and activities based on the Mass. Program runs September thru May.
CHILDREN’S SACRAMENTAL ASSISTANTS: Adults and teens that facilitate sacramental preparation sessions for first Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.

The Women’s Organization is seeking faith filled Catholic women, 16 and over, to join us in fulfilling our mission to service God. Join in faith, fellowship and fun as we embrace the needs of our Parish community through charitable service, fundraising, social functions and spiritual development. Every Thursday morning, from 6am -7am, men from St. John Neumann come together in fellowship and prayer. The Men’s Prayer Breakfast is hosted in Baldwin Hall where a light breakfast is served. We open with a prayer, individual prayer & praise intentions may be offered. We may watch a video or listen to a audio presentation or discuss a Catholic book. We close with a prayer. This is an opportunity to grow in your faith in Christ in an informal setting. All men are welcome. Please join us.
